Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Program Manager to join our Medical Family Therapy Team B team located at the Ardmore Health Clinic working Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summary:


Oversees therapy services by seeking continuous improvement of clinical services and collaborating with providers and leadership to comprehensively care for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides family, couple, individual and group therapies as needed
  • Implements empirically validated measurements into therapeutic practice to assess for client progress in therapy and to measure overall therapeutic effectiveness with clients
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure for appropriate care of clients
  • Assists in ongoing initiatives to build and maintain referrals for services
  • Provides licensing supervision for license candidates and supervisees
  • Conducts diagnostic screenings and assessments
  • Serves as a resource to other medical professionals in the Chickasaw Nation regarding mental health topics
  • Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely
  • Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required
  • Assists staff with accomplishing goals
  • Ensures staff stays in assigned areas
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies
  • Resolves minor employee concerns
  • Communicates area performance and operational information to line of support
  • Approves/denies time off requests
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains files, logs, and records
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
  • Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
  • Maintains knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
  • Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
  • Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
  • Participates in candidate selection process
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
  • Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
  • Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
  • Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
  • Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
  • Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

  • Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements

  • Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Knowledge of relevant privacy regulations such as The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Must have empathetic understanding of common social problems (i.e., addictions, mental health problems, domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of First American populations
  • Must be proficient in the use of electronic health record keeping systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of trauma informed care
  • Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management


Skills:

Essential:
  • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products


Experience:

Essential:
  • 2 years directly related experience

Education:

Essential:
  • Masters Degree in directly related field

Essential:
  • Must have a master's degree in a mental health related discipline

  • Pass general background check

Essential:
  • Must be a currently licensed therapist in Oklahoma in one of the following LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC-MH, LBP, or Psychologist Must possess a current designation as an approved clinical supervisor from the applicable State of Oklahoma licensing board
  • Requires completion of level one Core Leadership Training within 12 months of the hire or promotion date

Working Conditions:

Essential:
  • Mental health treatment facility
  • Sometimes lift and or carry up to 25 lbs
  • May be on-call
  • May be required to work after hours or on weekends as needed
  • Travel is primarily within Chickasaw Nation boundaries
  • May be required to assist individuals who are under the influence
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
