We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled female piano teacher to join our talented team of educators.
Job Description :
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced piano teacher to provide classical piano instruction on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of classical music principles, along with a minimum of ABRSM Level 5 certification in music theory. You will be teaching students of various skill levels and ages, focusing on technique, theory, and repertoire.
Responsibilities :
Provide one-on-one and small group piano lessons, focusing on classical piano techniques and repertoire
Assess the progress of students and tailor lesson plans to meet their individual needs
Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations
Instill a love for music and foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment
Maintain clear communication with students and parents about progress and expectations
Stay up-to-date with new teaching methods and repertoire within the classical music field
Qualifications :
Proficiency in classical piano performance
Minimum of ABRSM Level 5 in music theory or equivalent
Previous teaching experience preferred
Strong ability to communicate musical concepts to students of all levels
Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliability and commitment to a consistent Saturday schedule
Job Details :
Part-time position : Saturdays, 10 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
Pay : $25 per hour
