Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist at The Child Center of NY in New York, NY. The therapist will work with children from birth to adulthood, providing mental health support. Day-to-day tasks include conducting therapy sessions, assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to create a holistic treatment approach.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages
- Experience in providing mental health therapy to children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensure as a mental health therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LPC)
- Experience working in underserved communities is a plus
