What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at The Child Development Cooperative?
We are looking for a caring, creative and enthusiastic infant caregiver who:
Wants to play outside every day, yes, even with the youngest of infants.
Lets infants & toddlers take physical and emotional risks.
Trusts infants & toddlers with the ability to make sense of the world through unstructured, freely chosen play.
Likes to do messy sensory exploration with art materials, yes, even with infants.
Is comfortable on a multi-aged playground filled with loose parts and items that might be considered “junk” to others.
Wants to be part of a team of caregivers who share space and each lead their own class.

Applicant must be at least 18 years old, have at least 1 year of professional group childcare experience working directly with infants and toddlers, and be willing to submit to a fingerprint-based Child Care Criminal Background check.
