What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Caregiver position at The Childcare Center of the Hamptons?
The Childcare Center of the Hamptons is a play based center, seeking energetic teachers that have knowledge and experience with children to create healthy, supportive and challenging learning environments. Additionally, this teacher must be able to develop meaningful lesson plans. This teacher should be passionate, nurturing and experienced to join our childcare program.
Role Requirements
- Work closely with team members to execute daily lesson plans
- Create a positive, safe & engaging classroom environment for children to learn & play
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing updates, achievements, developmental milestones through various communication avenues including mobile apps, written letters, email or zoom
- Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Support our center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
- Change diapers as needed
- Maintain daily schedules
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per OCFS regulations
Job Requirements
- Infant/Toddler CDA or credits in Early Childhood Education
- Must Meet State Requirement
- Working knowledge in childhood education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
