Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Floater to join our educational team. The Floater will play a vital role in supporting various classrooms, ensuring that all students receive the attention and care they need. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about child welfare and early intervention, with a focus on fostering literacy education and nurturing development in preschool and toddler care settings.

Duties

  • Provide support to teachers in various classrooms, adapting to the needs of each learning environment.
  • Engage with children in activities that promote literacy education and early learning concepts.
  • Assist in the implementation of Montessori methods, ensuring a hands-on approach to learning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
  • Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as needed.
  • Support children during transitions between activities and assist with classroom management.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to child care and education.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with toddler care principles and preschool education methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting positively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Experience with Montessori education is a plus but not required.
  • A genuine passion for educating children and helping them develop essential skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
