Job Overview
The Receptionist position is important in the overall operation of the company. The Receptionist will greet Clients, answer incoming calls, and manage the flow of calls to ensure that all Clients are responded to and moved efficiently throughout the day. The position will also include some day-to-day operations and assisting with other duties that may be assigned by management. The Receptionist will work closely with other departments to ensure that all client needs are met. This position requires a highly organized personality who can follow up with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
- Performs Client check-in process, verifies and updates demographics, and verifies and updates insurance information on the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Scans and uploads Driver’s License and Insurance Cards.
- Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, paper, etc.)
- Maintains a clean and orderly waiting area, including reading material/television.
- Greet and welcome guests
- Answer questions and address complaints
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
- Receive letters, packages, etc., and distribute them
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
- Check, sort, and forward voicemails
- Monitor office supplies and inform management when orders need to be placed
- Keep updated records and files
- Take up other duties as assigned by management
Education and/or Experience
Must meet one of the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Must be proficient in Google Suite (Google, Word, Excel).
- Experience in a call center environment preferred (e.g., customer service, sales).
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.)
- Proficient in English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Customer service orientation

Work Hours: Usually standard business hours, extended hours, and some evening and weekend hours, as needed.

- Frequently use hands, and fingers to handle or feel.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
- Depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to drive surface streets and highways.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.90 - $20.03 per hour
