Overview
We are seeking an organized and motivated Development Office Manager to support our development team in their fundraising and donor management activities. This position will handle administrative tasks such as maintaining databases and calendars, assisting with event planning and execution, and preparing necessary correspondence with stakeholders. Duties
- Responsible for collecting, recording, and reporting all incoming donations and sponsorships. Serve as the accounts receivable liaison between the Development and Finance departments.
- Maintain donor database with accurate records of donations, gifts, and bequests.
- Generate “thank you” letters to all donors and sponsors.
- Assist with planning and coordinating all fundraising events. Limited number of nights and weekends required for this duty.
- Create invoices for events.
- Research, track, and report grant opportunities and outcomes.
- Provide general administrative support for the Development Department and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or leadership team to assist the organization’s operations, implementation of the mission, and progress towards strategic goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma with a minimum of two years’ experience in office management or a related field.
- Must possess strong organization and communication skills.
- Advanced computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Be effective at working independently while also operating as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong emotional intelligence which includes self-awareness, self-regulation, and empathy.
- Ability to adapt readily, multi-task, and work with a diverse group of individuals.
Must show eligibility to work with children as evidenced by PA background clearances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
