We serve dependent, neglected, and traumatized children who due to circumstances beyond their control are unable to remain at home and/or with their family of origin. General Duties and Responsibilities for Direct Care Staff are as follows:
- Constant supervision of clients, including room/safety checks during shift hours.
- Ensure client safety by following program rules and safety plans.
- Medication administration.
- Daily note-taking and other communication when necessary.
- Transportation of clients using company vehicles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
- Attend meetings and trainings when required.
- Light cleaning duties.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License/Record Check
- Over 21 Years Old
- All applicants are required to pass a physical examination by a licensed professional.
- Must pass State trainings including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Medical Administration provided by The Children’s Home of Easton.
- Must be able to provide FBI, Background, and Child Abuse Clearances.
