Dietician needed
The Children's Home of Kingston is looking for a Dietician who can dedicate approximately 4-6 hours per week to helping with the nutrition of the Children who attend our campus. We seek someone familiar with providing a well-balanced menu that meets the NYSED Food Services standard. Provides a diverse food menu similar to the surrounding school districts in Ulster County and provides substitute meals daily with the monthly menu. Has recipe suggestions to the DOFS when needed or expresses help in certain areas. Approves the final menu once approved by the DOFS & CEO, which complies with the NYSED Food Services Standard. Goes over Allergies, how to cook around them, and where to post them. Make visits twice a month to check inventory storage and product dates. Reports any discrepancy in an email to DOFS & CHRO within 48 hours.
This position can be independent of the Children's Home of Kingston or an employee of the Children's Home of Kingston..
Salary varies if the candidate chooses an independent or an employee.
