Position Purpose:
Provides direct communication with churches to educate about the Children’s Home of Lubbock, to acquire support, and to organize and manage projects for church participation.
Job Specific Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in church ministry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to organize projects, manage time and tasks independently.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Organize projects for church participation.
- Communicate with donors and current partnering churches.
- Actively seek out new prospecting churches to partner with our mission (financial, access, volunteer, advocate).
- Speak at churches on behalf of the agency.
General Qualifications for All Employees of The Children’s Home of Lubbock:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to read, write and communicate with co-workers, medical personnel and other persons necessary to care for the young adult’s needs.
- Have a Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adult in care.
- Meet the requirements of licensing standards in regards to a criminal background check.
- Have a record of tuberculosis screening showing the employee is free of contagious TB.
- Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks.

- Complete a notarized Licensing Affidavit for Applicants for Employment
Applicants must submit the last five years of employment history.
