The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Part-Time Medical Social Worker (weekends only) for our Pediatric Specialty Hospital. This position works every Saturday and Sunday, 8 hour shifts.
Our Social Work team provides social services to the Pediatric Specialty Hospital patients and their families based on an individualized assessment of the social, psychological, and economic needs. They assist families of hospitalized patients with supports and resources throughout hospitalization with the goal of a safe discharge home and also serve patients and families in Child's Way, our daycare center for medically fragile children, on an as-needed basis.
