Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Director will oversee the Performance and Quality Improvement activities to effectively manage risks, promote excellence and continual improvement of client care, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Focusing on better treatment value and quality, including the improvement of clinical outcomes, client experience, client safety, costs, revenue, productivity, efficiency, employee satisfaction, and process reliability.
- Facilitates alignment between quality initiatives and the organization’s strategic plan; directs the day-to-day execution of strategies and tactics necessary to successfully improve the outcomes and results of the organization.
- Managing performance improvement projects, flow and alignment to assure milestones and key performance indicators are met within defined parameters. Documents the results of projects, and submits other documentation as requested.
- Works closely with clinical and non-clinical teams for improvement on key performance indicators, designs processes for new initiatives, services and other targets identified by residential leadership.
- Serves as an internal consultant to administration and staff in the areas of regulatory compliance, process improvement, performance monitoring, and statistical analysis.
- Identify and liaison to all stakeholders for necessary data collection in the form of annual stakeholder surveys, focus groups, and communication with personal contacts.
- Gather data and disseminate information specific to improvements and report progress or lack of progress in all improvement plans to the appropriate team and or committees involved with the oversight of the improvement plan.
- Develops and recommends policies, procedures, and/or programs and processes to improve or enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of outcomes.
- Evaluate and document the effectiveness of the PQI system.
- Coordinate regular PQI committee meetings, maintain minutes, disseminate relevant information and make recommendations based on best practice and current regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits and risk analysis as determined by the PQI Committee.
- Participate in agency safety and Human Rights Committees, serving as secretary.
- Provide direction to the residential program's risk management practices.
- Reviewing client medical records to enhance the quality of services and integrity of the residential program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
