POSITION SUMMARY : The Children’s Home is looking for a visionary Director of Staff Education to take our training programs to the next level!
In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on shaping the future of our agency by developing engaging, innovative, and trauma-informed training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development. You’ll lead a team of dedicated training specialists, ensuring our employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to make a real difference in the lives of youth and families across New York State.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide supervision and support to the team of Training Specialists
- Stay up to date on mandates from oversight agencies
- Update training requirements as needed
- Work closely with a variety of department leads and staff across the state to ensure training standards are met.
- Oversee and provide evidence-based modalities (i.e. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, CARE etc.)
- Utilize a learning management system to capture and track all employee training
- Lead group and individual training in-person and virtually at sites throughout New York State
- Represent the agency in community learning spaces and training opportunities with other agencies
- Travel is required for this role
