Pay Rate/Salary Range: $69,998/year - $82,350/year
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a 12-month position.

Families and school districts alike have connected with our expert educational team to bring specialized education and related services, including autism support and multiple disabilities support, to nearly 200 students from 60 school districts across western Pennsylvania each year.
About The Position
The Educational Supervisor works with the Chief School Administrator of The Day School and Associate Chief School Administrator to effectively plan, institute, and supervise the activity with The Day School with respect to departmental and administrative policy and procedure.

About The Position
The Educational Supervisor works with the Chief School Administrator of The Day School and Associate Chief School Administrator to effectively plan, institute, and supervise the activity with The Day School with respect to departmental and administrative policy and procedure.
- Supervises and participates in all aspects of IEP process.
- Provides oversight and supervision for curriculum development and implementation throughout The Day School program.
- Determines eligibility, coordinates personnel and procedures, establishes contracts with school districts/IU's, and arranges scheduling for ESY students.
- Assists the Chief School Administrator in the evaluation of all school services and The Day School personnel.
- Reviews pupil Progress Reports, IEP's, IEP Revisions, Staffing Reports, End-of-Year Reports/Discharge Summaries, etc.
- Assists in organizing community-based instruction and other out-of-school activities.
- Organizes and provides professional in-service training for educational staff.
- A Master's degree in Special Education from an approved college or university is required.
- Pennsylvania certification as a Supervisor of Special Education is required. Current and valid certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred (will provide training).
- A minimum of five years experience in Special Education is required. Experience in educational diagnostic procedures and teacher training is required; administrative experience is preferred.
- Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearances required.
