What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Head Start Teacher Assistant (Substitute) position at The Children's Learning Center?
The Children's Learning Center is looking for a dynamic, energetic, patient, fun and organized individual to work with children in our Early Head Start program, which serves ages 6 weeks thru 3 years.
The position is a Teacher Assistant who helps support the head teacher, sanitizes the room, helps lead activities as directed, prepares activities, and helps enter observations into the system.
The position is full-time at 40 hours a week position running approximately 50 weeks a year. The position offers benefits that include health insurance for individual, vacation and sick leave, and retirement benefits after successful completion of probationary period.
Educational requirements a minimum of a CDA in Infant/Toddler or Associate in Early Childhood (preferred). Enrollment in Central Background Registry required prior to employment. First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Pay range $16 - $24/hr.
