Teaching Assistant
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to lead teachers in implementing educational programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Support children with autism or special needs in their learning and socialization.
- Help manage behavior and promote positive interactions among children.
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development for early childhood education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
The position requires a CDA in Pre School. Enrollment in the Crimal Background Registry required prior to employment. First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers must be obtained within 30days of employment.
