Afternoon Early Childhood Educator

The Children's Meetinghouse, a 10 month school year program, is hiring Infant/ Toddler and Preschool teachers for the 2025/2026 school year. We are a non-profit early childhood program located in beautiful Concord, MA. TCM, an early childhood school for over 40 years, is known for its Reggio Emilia philosophy and welcoming community. We believe that imagination, wonder and discovery serve as the cornerstones of teaching and learning. We place priority on honoring children in their capability and we follow a play-based emergent curriculum. Full time and part time afternoon positions available Opportunities to work with infants, toddlers and preschoolers in mixed age classrooms Work with other educators in a team teaching model Salary commensurate with experience. Starting full time salaries at $49,5000 per year and starting part time hourly rates at $29.00 per hour Extensive benefits for full time staff include 4 weeks of paid, earned, PTO, Simple IRA match, opportunities for professional development, 50% employee discount for childcare, paid summers off etc. Responsibilities include: Foster a safe and nurturing environment that appropriately meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of young children and cultivates positive interaction with their peers, supporting children’s growth and development Along with collaborating on a teaching team, job requirements include: participating in all duties related to the education and care of young children. Preferred applicants have a passion to work with children in a group setting, joy in inquiry based projects, and interest in making learning visible through documentation. Applicants must be teacher certified by the Department of Early Education and Care. Hold a degree in early childhood education and previous experience with young children. Demonstrate understanding of early childhood development gained through relevant education, training, and/or previous work experience.as well as experience or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our teacher to child ratio is very generous and we use our large playground spaces for lots of outdoor explorations. Shifts for the 2025-2026 school year will be 9:45am-5:45 pm or 2:45-5:45 pm.
