Job Summary:
A highly skilled leader is required to oversee and manage a team of Facilities Supervisors. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of all integral components in a manufacturing environment and be responsible for maintaining the DC Profit and Loss for the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the facilities team, including selecting, interviewing, and coaching maintenance staff.
- Build relationships with external vendors and internal corporate partners, as well as distribution operations leaders.
- Manage and oversee preventive maintenance programs, plan and budget facilities modifications, and prepare cost estimates.
- Troubleshoot MHE (material handling equipment) and DC building systems, and implement Health and Safety programs.
Education and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in a Distribution Center or similar environment.
- Electrical and mechanical background, including PLC knowledge and MHE experience.
- Superior leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
