We are hiring a Manager, Social Media Marketing, a socially-savvy storyteller to help reshape the future of our iconic brands – The Children’s Place and Gymboree.
In this role, you'll craft compelling content that resonates with parents, caregivers, and children, driving engagement and expanding our brand's reach. Your deep understanding of social trends and platform nuances will be pivotal in building a vibrant, engaged community around our brand.
Key Accountabilities:
- Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
- Create engaging, on-brand content tailored to each platform (Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc.).
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality visuals and copy.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers.
- Monitor conversations and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Implement strategies to increase follower growth and engagement rates.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
- Provide regular reports on key KPIs, including engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Stay informed on platform algorithm changes and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends and platform updates.
- Experiment with new formats and features to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Identify opportunities for viral content and real-time marketing.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Coordinate with influencers and brand partners for collaborative content.
- Align social media initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Team management of junior social team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years in social media management, preferably in DTC and Lifestyle industries.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative or a related field is required.
Skills:
- Proven track record of growing and engaging social media communities.
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and basic graphic design.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency
