PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE
The Community Liaison markets the Hope Center and Parent Education Programs to assist clients and their parents or caregivers by linking them with the proper clinical resources and services. This role acts as an intermediary and collaborator to enlighten communities, providers, clients, and families about treatment services. The Community Liaison aids in admissions, serving as a concierge to welcome incoming clients, families, and clinical partners to the Hope Center and Parent Education Programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborates with program and executive leadership team members to identify and cultivate strong community partnerships, elevating the programs’ presence in the local market.
· Engages with local school districts, hospitals, and local courts to educate on services provided and offers monthly presentations to staff and families on available resources.
· Collaborates with departments, program staff and community collaborators for implementation.
· Collaborates with programs to create marketing information and postings for social media.
· Leads and coordinates speaking engagements to recruit and raise awareness on behalf of the Hope Center and Parent Education Programs.
· Organizes and participates in community outreach activities, programs, and projects to raise awareness of services and programs; assists in planning and coordinating special events.
· Targets follow-up meetings with all key referrals ensuring internal and external obstacles to growth and retention are identified, minimized and/or eliminated.
· Responds to all inquiries (website, email, phone call, etc.) within 24 – 48 business hours.
· Creates requested reports that reflect the progress of program services against goals and measurable objectives.
· Promotes positive working relationships with staff and community partners/agencies.
· Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree required; in social services, communications, or business preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years experience in outreach, marketing, and communications. Preferably in social services or child welfare.
· Experience speaking to large groups and providing required educational presentations.
· Experience in data management, creating reports, and analyzing data preferred.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

· Strong positive communicative skills to engage and work with children and families effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and communities.
· Knowledge and awareness of disparities of race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend and evening hours.
· Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships.

· Must maintain a current driver's license and auto insurance. Must have access to reliable and safe transportation. Willingness and ability to use personal vehicle for work activities.
· Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT
Travel will be required for community engagement activities to include the following counties: Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Atascosa, and Medina. The normal schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, but schedule adjustments will be necessary to allow for evening or weekend activities. This role is subject to grant funding.

Salary is: $25 an hour/$52k annually
