Governance Officer
The Children’s Trust exists to support children and their families with acquired brain injuries and neurodisabilities. We are a complex organisation that constantly thrives to deliver the best outcomes for the children we serve. Effective governance is key to achieve this.

Key Accountabilities
- Attend all committees and take accurate minutes.
- Follow up any agreed action points with those responsible and inform the chair of progress.
- Liaise with those preparing papers to make sure they are available on time and distribute the agenda and papers.
- Maintain copies of current terms of reference and membership of any committees and any nominated trustee . safeguarding.
- Maintain a record of all relevant documents, including minutes, record of conflicts and interests, etc.
- Maintain a trustee meeting attendance record.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.
