Job Purpose
The Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing clinical information systems and applications within the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will focus on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) to boost efficiency. Collaborate with IT teams, clinical staff, business teams and external vendors to create solutions that improve operations, improve efficiency, enhance patient care. Knowledgeable in development methodologies and code management, and ensuring applications meet hospital policy, regulatory requirements, patient safety standards and support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include process improvement, data analytics collaboration, end user training, and technical documentation. |

Gather business and clinical requirements and architect new solutions. Engage in workflow design and evaluation, serving as clinical consultants and technical liaisons. |

Maintain and support existing Microsoft applications, ensuring continuous functionality and user satisfaction. |

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. |

Qualifications
Education: |
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Management Information Systems (MIS) required. |
Experience: |
At least 2 years experience using Microsoft development tools in a professional setting. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. |
License/Certification/Credential: |
Microsoft or other IT certifications preferred |
