Job Purpose
The Outpatient Pharmacy Manager provides excellent patient care by ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while adhering to all policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards. The Outpatient Pharmacy Manager works closely and communicates effectively with the Director of Pharmacy, health care providers, inpatient pharmacy staff, and patients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Bethany Community Pharmacy. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Workflow Management: Efficiently and accurately dispenses medications in accordance with Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations. |

Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service including timely and clear communication with patients, providers, and others on the inpatient hospital team. |

Management: Supervises direct reports assuring compliance with all Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations including USP guidelines related to sterile and non-sterile compounding. |

Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate workflow with inpatient pharmacy including sterile and non-sterile compounding and staffing. |

Innovation: Seeks ways to drive business success by promoting use of the outpatient Community Pharmacy at BCHC and in the community. Finds new opportunities to serve our patients and community while providing a revenue source for the organization. |

Qualifications
Education: |
Pharm. D. Degree. |
Experience: |
1 years’ experience as an independent and/or retail pharmacist in a management role preferred but not required. |
License/Certification/Credential: |
Current Oklahoma Pharmacist License in Good Standing. |
