Job Purpose
Provides nursing care, monitoring, and support to the patients while they are in the education and therapy environments in order to allow children who have medical complexities to benefit from and participate in out of room activities. |
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Monitoring and transporting patients who are on ventilators in the education and therapy areas. |

Monitoring and providing nursing support to all children with medical complexities to include children with trachs, children on ventilators, children needing monitoring of 02 saturations, blood pressure, temperature, suctioning, etc. |

Acting as a liaison between education/rehab staff and nursing staff in management of schedules, communication of medical/nursing care of the children to include gathering information on unit isolation/closures, etc. |

Provide training on medical related topics to rehab/education staff and students at new hire and as annual competencies. |

Provide coverage in nursing units and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: |
Graduate of accredited RN or LPN program. |
Experience: |
1 year of experience preferred |
License/Certification/Credential: |
Current RN or LPN license in State of Oklahoma. CPR and PALS certification within 1 year of employment |
