Position Overview:
We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program as Youth Development Professionals! In this fulfilling position, you'll play a key role in providing direct care and guidance to children and teens, helping them thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and Support: Lead daily activities and manage behavior systems to maintain a positive and structured atmosphere for the youth.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure each child's needs are met with care and consistency.
- Document Progress: Keep accurate records to track each youth's personal development and well-being.
Work Schedule:
- Must be able to work the hours of 7am -3pm or 3pm -11pm weekends included.
- Enjoy an additional $2.00/hour for the 3 PM - 11 PM shift!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of (1) one year of experience working with children or adolescents.
- A valid Florida driver's license is a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to participate in physical tasks, such as lifting and handling light to moderate weights (10-25 lbs).
- Comfortable with activities that involve standing, sitting, walking, reaching, climbing stairs, etc.
- Visual acuity to handle tasks requiring both close and distant vision.
