SUMMARY
The Chimney Chap, located in Hanson, is a reputable and growing company who specializes in Home Heating Solutions, Masonry, & Outdoor Living Products. Established in 1980, our primary focus is working with fireplaces, chimneys, venting, and clothes dryer venting, in compliance with Local, State, and National Building Codes performed by CSIA and NFI Certified Industry Professionals. Whether you heat your home with your fireplace, fueled by gas or oil, gas, wood or pellet appliances, the chimney and venting systems must be maintained for an efficient and safe combustion system.
We are located in Hanson, MA, looking to fill a Brick Mason/Mason position full OR part time. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written skills, works well with others, and reliable. REQUIREMENTS
Approximate work schedule and hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. Every other Saturday is required during peak season months (October-February).
2 years construction experience
MUST BE able to lift 40 lbs
MUST BE comfortable on ladders and roof
Must have clear verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience in brick and stone masonry
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with chimney & fireplace installation
