What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery and Events Manager position at The Chocolate Moose?
We have a unique opportunity for our position of Wholesale Delivery and Events Manager. We need a personable, detail oriented individual to fulfill this position that only opens up once every year or two. Responsibilities include:
-Delivering ice cream to our two retail locations and various restaurants around town.
-Setting up, tearing down, and working events like Bloomington Food Truck Friday, IU Football games, weddings, and more.
Every day is different and you get to attend tons of cool events while making tips on top of your hourly wage and passing out ice cream. Almost all Sundays off.
Traits that are a must for this job:
-Punctual
-Honest
-Ability to communicate on the go
-Attention to detail
-Valid drivers license, clean driving record. and ability to drive a truck with trailer attached.
-Flexible schedule, fairly open availability
-Physical ability to move and set up 10x20 tents, load heavy freezer carts onto flatbed trailer
We don't cap overtime so if you like to work a ton, and make a ton, you'll love this gig!! If you're more of a 30-40 hour week person that's cool too!! Nothing beats getting paid to drive and listening to your favorite music or podcast while not worrying about how much money you're going to make that day.
