The Choice Program seeks Service Coordinators (SCs) to provide high-quality, high-impact direct services to young people involved with the Department of Juvenile Services through community-based youth and family engagement. Choice is hiring SCs for the Metro Region : Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. These positions support the organization’s efforts to disentangle young people from the youth legal system and improve wellbeing through goal creation.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Providing in-person, community-based mentoring and advocacy
- Assisting young people with goal planning and achievement
- Documenting and reporting on engagement efforts
- Collaborating with colleagues to facilitate and coordinate activities for young people on evenings and weekends
- Attending regular in person meetings and training sessions
