Job Description: The Youth Coordinator at City Alliance Church is a part-time position (20 hours a week) whose role is to equip and direct a passionate team of youth mentors who will invest in reaching, equipping, and releasing middle school and high school students to transform Williamsport for the glory of God and the good of the City.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a discipleship plan for middle and high school students that is age-appropriate, high-energy, multisensory, life-giving, and practical, including a minimum of a weekly gathering, monthly event, and annual retreat.
- Create an environment that is comfortable, inviting, relational, safe, and encouraging.
- Build relationships with middle and high school students.
- Partner with parents to help students take their next steps with God through clear and effective communication across multiple platforms.
- Engage in effective outreach to students outside of City Alliance.
- Engage students in serving in the church, community, and world.
- Develop both student and adult leaders.
Expectations:
- Live a life worthy of the calling you have received (Eph. 4: I): Professes a personal relationship with Jesus, exemplifies the fruit of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), maintains healthy Sabbath rhythms, and engages in soul care.
- Become a Partner (Member) at City Alliance
- Send a monthly ministry report to the supervisor.
- Meet monthly with the supervisor for mentoring and coaching.
- Attend quarterly ministry team meetings to coordinate youth ministry with the entire church calendar.
- Attend Sunday morning gatherings, missing up to 6 Sundays per year for vacation.

Church History: City Alliance Church is almost 10 years old. The church was planted as a portable location. In 2015, the church merged with an established Baptist church, allowing City Alliance to have their own building. The building is 200 years old and a piece of the established history of Williamsport. The vision of City Alliance Church is to transform Williamsport with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the good of the city.
