Minister To the Next Generation
Job Description:
- Time Involvement/Compensation
- Full-time position averaging 40 hours/week
- Salary determined at a fair/competitive rate
- Vacation commensurate with C&MA policy for years of service

- Youth Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all Youth Ministries (5th - 12th grade)
- Weekly Youth Group meetings
- Teach or Oversee Sunday School Classes Identify and develop teen leaders
- Initiate Discipleship opportunities for youth
- Build relationships with young people and their families.
- Coordinate all retreats (i.e. Life Conference)
- Identify and Develop Adult Leadership for Next Generation Ministries
- Develop our own training
- OR Find Training for them to attend OR
- Bring outside trainers to CAC for continuing education
- Curriculum Research
- Find an appropriate curriculum for each level of Next Generation Ministry that aligns with C&MA doctrine
- Lead and coordinate all Youth Ministries (5th - 12th grade)
- Innovate and initiate ministry opportunities for the college/young adult age group (i.e.18 30)
- Preach when called upon
- Assist the Lead Pastor with the overall ministry when possible
- Accountable directly to the Lead Pastor and to the Elders through the Pastor
