The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer. This is a full-time position located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. This position works under the direction of the Design Team Manager and is responsible to plan, analyze, and create visual solutions for communications initiatives, and coordinating all aspects of design and photography. In the performance of these duties, this position will support the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.
Specific Duties
- Designs and produces a variety of materials for print and digital use, such as logos, brochures, booklets, fundraising appeals, as well as providing design support for email, social media, video, and web communications.
- Coordinates with design team manager, director for branding and design, and clients to understand scope and requirements for projects and campaigns.
- Executes creative design solutions from conception to completion, including managing multiple projects and deadlines, and ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
- Ensures visual consistency and branding standards are met across multiple projects and media channels in collaboration with design team manager, director for branding and design.
- Presents design concepts to design team manager, director for branding and design, and clients for feedback, and makes changes to designs based on feedback.
- As directed, assists with Website development by providing design support for new / existing web sites and pages.
- Designs wireframes that lead to intuitive user experiences on desktop and mobile platforms, and coordinates with web developers to prepare / optimize those assets for web use.
- Coordinates with marketing and communications specialist to prepare electronic prepress files for print, and ensures high quality print standards through pre and post production; checks designs for errors prior to printing or publishing.
- Stays updated on current design trends and industry knowledge.
- Utilizes upper level working knowledge of graphic design software and hardware including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Macintosh computers and peripherals, and desktop scanners.
- Supports and may be required to attend biennial General Council.
