K-8 Spanish Teacher (Part Time) Mornings
The Christian School at Castle Hills is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time K-8 Spanish Teacher to join our Christ-centered learning community. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about both language instruction and fostering a faith-based environment that nurtures students academically and spiritually.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish to students in grades K-8 using engaging and age-appropriate methods.
- Integrate biblical principles into lesson plans and classroom discussions.
- Create a positive and interactive learning environment that encourages language development.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support students' overall growth.
- Participate in school events and activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching Certificate
- Born-again believer with testimony of salvation by receiving Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- Active member in good standing of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
- Public and private life that demonstrates Biblical qualities of a Christian role model, at home, work, and in the community.
- Practice principles of Christian growth including prayer, Scripture memorization and study, witnessing, and discipleship.
- Teaching experience preferred, especially with elementary and middle school students.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Commitment to Christian education and agreement with the school's statement of faith.
- Ability to create engaging and culturally enriching Spanish lessons.
