We seek an Associate Director, University & Corporate Relations, to cultivate and close opportunities across our digital, print, content, and live event advertising products with college and university partners. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement with at least 2 days per week in our Washington D.C. office or remote work for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Sell integrated marketing and advertising programs that combine digital, newsletter, email, print, research, sponsored content, live events, and custom sponsorships to increase investments from college and university partners.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives, as set monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Work with clients to present advertising programs and packages that will allow us to significantly grow investments annually.
- Support sales efforts by processing proposals, responding to client inquiries when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in media sales with a successful track record of selling integrated media programs.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management to optimize the sales team's performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor.
- Great attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with strong collaborative and client service skills.
- Able to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes.
- Able to excel in an entrepreneurial sales environment.
