Advertising Sales Rep
Associate Director, University & Corporate Relations),
to join our team. This is a hybrid position requiring at least 2 days a week in the Washington DC office if you are within driving distance. Candidates in CA, WA, TX, FL, NY, NJ, NC, MD, and VA may be considered remotely.
Associate Director, University & Corporate Relations
is responsible for cultivating and closing opportunities across The Chronicle of Higher Education's digital, print, content and live event advertising products to college and university partners.

Sell integrated marketing and advertising programs that integrate digital, newsletter, email, print, research, sponsored content, live events, and custom sponsorships.Meet and exceed all sales goals and objectives, as set monthly, quarterly and annually.Primarily responsible for large transactions, which require time and detail.Work with clients to present advertising programs and packages that will allow us to significantly grow investments annually.Support sales efforts by processing proposals, packages, responding to client's inquiries when needed.Experience and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in media sales with a successful track record of selling integrated media programs.Knowledge of customer relationship management to help optimize the sales team's performance.Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.Strong work ethic with a professional demeanor.Great attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.Proactive problem-solving skills with strong collaborative and client service skills.Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes.Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial sales environment.

Starting salary for this role is commensurate with experience $116,200 - $125,000 (base salary without commission).
