Powerful, targeted content on the right communication channels at the right time is critical to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in these Latter-days. The Content Strategy team in the Church Communication Department is responsible for developing relationships, processes, and experiences that help to maximize impact of content for audiences on all digital channels.
The Content Strategy Coordinator will partner with and support content creators, content product managers, channel managers and Church departments as they prepare content for channels and channels for content. As part of the Church Communication Department, they will acquire a deep understanding of all channel communication strategies and be able to communicate clearly how those strategies impact content development and deployment. Members of the team work in a highly collaborative environment across Church departments to consult, guide, and encourage content creators in their pursuit of positive outcomes through better strategy.
This position is part of the Church's enthusiastic content strategy team in the Content Strategy & Coordination Division with lots of room to learn, grow, and positively influence how audiences experience the gospel of Jesus Christ on digital channels. As an integral part of the Church Communication Department, you will share your work through masterful presentations, solid knowledge of strategic content planning, and natural ability to lead disparate groups of people toward a shared goal. We're looking for someone who is excited to bring their communication expertise, patience for implementing new processes, and genuine love for people, words, and data-driven decision-making to the table.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities & Duties :
- Support the content strategy team with execution on all aspects of the content strategy process and act as a project manager for large enterprise level initiatives and research projects.
- Organize and help to facilitate cross-departmental trainings and workshops.
- Develop close working relationships with all Church Communication Department divisions and act as a liaison for content strategy support.
- Consult on or manage strategic content planning support for several communication channels including social media channels, mobile apps, personalized website channels, marketing emails, and more.
- Facilitate internal stakeholder communication plans including in-depth listening sessions, project updates, and stakeholder presentations about the progress of content initiatives.
- Manage the documentation of content inventories and audits, messaging briefs, content briefs, content strategies, and channel solutions recommendations using AI where appropriate.
- Represent the Content Strategy & Coordination division on cross-departmental committees.
- Propose and implement additional content strategy best practices as part of a collaborative team of professionals.
- Manage marketing and awareness planning as assigned.
- Help to coordinate content experiences on department managed channels as assigned.
