What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Workforce Relations Specialist position at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
The purpose of this role is to support Workforce Relations efforts for the organization.
Employees at this level work with a high degree of latitude, have expert knowledge, and handle complex issues and problems.
This role reports to Manager, Global Workforce Relations and has frequent partnership with Human Resource department and area leaders and teams, department leaders, COEs, Legal Counsel, and employees.
Responsible for the following activities:
o Counsel with and provide subject matter expertise to HR professionals, managers, and employees globally on workforce issues and concerns.
o Research and respond to employee inquiries, questions, complaints, and misconduct.
o Provide workforce relations and policy training to HR professionals and managers.
o Assist with administration of annual workforce compliance trainings.
o Manage the annual temple worthiness review verification process.
o Investigate allegations of employee/employer misconduct and recommend resolutions.
o Advise HR professionals and managers on HR policy, programs, and performance management counseling.
o Consult on disability accommodation review and administration.
o Assist with HR document records management activities for the department; ensure storage document compliance.

- Standards Line Administration, Response, and Support
o Investigate allegations of employee/employer misconduct and recommend resolutions.
- Workforce Complaint Response
- HR Policy Administration and Support
o Advise HR professionals and managers on HR policy, programs, and performance management counseling.
o Consult on disability accommodation review and administration.
o Assist with HR document records management activities for the department; ensure storage document compliance.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 8 years industry-related experience
- Deep HR operational knowledge
- Familiarity with best practices of HR functions

- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
Preferred:
