Job Description
This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way. This is a key position that provides management and oversight of all Commercial Fleet Services in the United States. The position requires supervision of other employees and missionaries working in multiple disciplines., This position also requires supervision of information systems and processes. This position will include some or all of the following: fleet planning and budgeting, vehicle purchases and sells, FMCSA driver and vehicle compliance, maintenance, fuel storage, use, and associated taxes, licensing and registration This position also is involved in church fleet policy development and changes and ensures that policies are appropriately followed, appropriate work quality is accomplished and that performance metrics are achieved.

Responsibilities
- Manages the work of other employees (may include mixed workforce)
- Responsible, in partnership with HR, to hire or fire employees and recommends advancement, promotion or any other change of status of employees within their reporting line
- Manage various fleet specialists and ensure compliance with regulations and policies in multiple departments that operate commercial vehicles.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of fleet services; including exceptional customer service
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with purchasing and legal as necessary to qualify vendors and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance to vehicle registration, insurance and legal requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Technology or other related degree and 6 years related experience
- Experience should demonstrate broad working ability to administer fleet processes and vendor relationships including negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer tools is essential. This position also requires the ability to make sound financial decisions and communicate appropriately to Church ecclesiastical leadership.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) and/or Certified Director of Safety (CDS)
