Role and Responsibilities
The Business Analytics Lead Analyst will provide direct analytic, QA, QC, and UAT support to internal Forsyth Health stakeholders and its’ clients through the development of new reports, models and analytic solutions using innovative ways to present data. The Lead Analyst will plan, develop and execute test scripts and test cases, as well as performing ad-hoc exploratory testing to complete the delivery of our data and production data products to the highest possible quality, evaluating functionality from a Business/User perspective. The successful candidate will also perform testing across Forsyth’s data product suite, supporting the primary service and working closely with the Technology and Product teams to ensure reliable and consistent product functionality and usability maintained after production release.
The Lead Analyst role will need to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and will require cross-functional collaboration. This role will require a reporting and analytics background, and encompass many activities specific to product development, client reporting, and product performance. This individual will possess functional, technical, and advanced business knowledge to provide customized data solutions.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, business partners, and IT matrix partners to manage scope, understand key requirements to maximize strategic sourcing of data enabling a broad spectrum of analytic solutions.
- Optimize data product performance by implementing A/B testing from end-to-end, including, ideation and design, monitoring and reporting of results.
- Analyze and pull data to gain new insights or uncover potential areas for improvement.
- Develop and record results in an internal defect tracking system for reference and communication to stakeholders.
- Reviewing requirements for ambiguities, inaccuracies, logic statement flaws, optimization opportunities, etc. with cross-functional business teams.
- Works cross-functionally with Project Managers, Technology & Product teams to perform and manage QA, QC, and UAT processes through the final check out for data and data product production releases.
- Develops subject matter expertise on specific processes and provide insights and documentation to leadership.
- Work within a fast-paced environment, while balancing multiple initiatives and implementations.
Qualifications
- At least 2-4 years of experience in analytics, solving complex business problems using data tools, relational databases, and analytical processes.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, or other big data platforms.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to compile and analyze information, ensure data integrity, and provide resolutions or recommendations for improving operational processes.
- Ability to multi-task, shifting effectively among multiple activities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required; individual must have experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Adaptable and interested in learning new tools and data sources.
- Flexibility to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment; operates well with ambiguity.
