What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative - Accredo position at The Cigna Group?
Location: 100% onsite position in Warrendale, PA
Hours: 4 days 9:30am-8:00pm, with rotating Friday shifts
As a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative you will be responsible for the distribution of workload and monitoring of workflow for members of their assigned area to ensure assigned work is completed timely and accurately. Accurate and timely execution of all assigned tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures, work instructions and supervisor direction. Supports productivity, quality and safety efforts by accurately operating production equipment, assisting in troubleshooting and rectifying issues, and participating in development of policies and procedures.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure appropriate distribution of workload and workflow for assigned area including scheduling, shifting resources and back filling as needed.
- Serve as the first line resource for questions/issues from team in coordination with supervisor; demonstrates leadership qualities.
- Assist Supervisor in ensuring that established policies and standard operating procedures are being followed and that individual and team goals for productivity and quality are met/exceeded.
- Assist in the development, documentation and updating of policies and procedures for Technicians, including specific training and validation material, including one on one training and/or to group sessions as needed, Ensure that all team members are cross trained to cover production functions.
- Accurately and responsibly operates production equipment to include but not limited to changing labels, cleaning printers, monitoring production equipment, and restocking materials.
- Ensure appropriate teams are informed of equipment malfunctions.
- Monitor the outbound docks and coordinate daily shipping needs.
- Promote a positive work environment for team that supports high employee morale and job satisfaction.
- Identify and document issues impacting performance and productivity of team members.
- Provide input regarding solutions.
- Provide coaching on how to process orders more efficiently and accurately.
- Leading by example.
- Stock packing boxes and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to do the job:
- High School diploma GED required
- General PC knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email skills, preferred.
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy.
- Experience troubleshooting problems in a pharmacy dispensing environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for the full shift.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, troubleshoot problems and make decisions.
- Must be able to push and pull carts
- Ability to speak English is required for this position due to the need to communicate safety rules on the shop floor.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
