Our Corporate Tax department seeks a tax manager to prepare federal, state and local tax returns; reports and documents for taxing authorities and company personnel; and tax accruals for quarterly and annual financial statement reporting.
Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Ready To:
- prepare and submit quarterly and annual tax accrual workpapers, federal tax returns, and state and local income tax returns for review in an accurate and timely manner
- review personal property and premium tax returns
- prepare and submit ASC 740 and SSAP 101 calculations for GAAP and Statutory reporting
- adhere to professional standards as well as federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- interact with both company and outside personnel to build and maintain effective working relationships
- complete special projects as needed
- participate in company training as assigned

- a minimum of five years of tax accounting experience (required)
- a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- a CPA designation, working toward a CPA designation or planning to work toward a CPA designation
- experience preparing federal, state and local tax returns (required)
- experience preparing federal tax accruals for interim and year-end financial reporting (required)
- experience with international taxation for corporations (preferred)
- experience with the insurance industry (preferred)
- experience with tax compliance and provision software (CorpTax software experience preferred)
