The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Commercial Pricing Analytics department has an opening in our corporate headquarters located in Fairfield, OH, for an Actuary II to support anticipated growth in California.
The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $230,000 annually.The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Ready To
- lead actuarial support for Commercial Operations in state of California, including admitted and E&S business
- provide pricing recommendations and prepare rate filing support
- monitor pricing and profitability
- collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Product Management and Predictive Modeling functions
- perform ad hoc analyses
- In-depth understanding of major commercial lines in California (Auto, Casualty, Property and Workers’ Compensation)
- membership in Casualty Actuarial Society; FCAS designation preferred
- strong computer skills
- excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- a bachelor's degree or higher
- seven or more years commercial pricing experience, including significant California experience
