Our HQ Claims Resource Operations Department seeks a Material Damage Property Specialist associate who will support the Claims Department by conducting reviews and reinspections of staff property appraisals, serve as a technical resource for property repair, and occasionally completing virtual property repair appraisals for customers. This position supports Property Claims rather than Auto Claims. This is a hybrid role requiring the individual to work 50% of the time in the office while working remotely the other 50% through a fixed department schedule.
Starting Salary :
The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to :
Primary Responsibilities
- conduct reviews of in-process or closed property staff appraisals and quality assurance audits (reinspections) of moderately complex residential & commercial staff property appraisals
- Support the Claims Department by serving as a technical resource to associates for property repair, contents claims, and completing property appraisals with property estimating software and associated tools
- possesses required state adjuster and appraiser licenses as needed
- on occasion, complete quality property repair appraisals based on photographs
- prepares / compiles team reinspection results and delivers presentations to leadership and field teams
- completed or working towards Level 2 Xactimate certification
- participates in new hire Property Scoping and Estimating training
- assist CAT operations when needed both virtually and in person
