Our Commercial Application Systems department is currently seeking an application analyst. This role is responsible for overall quality, performance, and continuous improvement of all Commercial Lines applications, including defect and change request management.Acts as a liaison and Commercial Lines subject matter expert to Information Technology.Ensures commercial processes and technology solutions align and support the department and corporate objectives and key results. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, O hio .
Salary: The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Ready To
- w ork closely with the Director Commercial Systems and Commercial Application Analysts to implement the vision and established strategy for those systems used by Commercial Lines
- support the request management process through new idea intake and evaluation, including impact, gap, and financial analysis
- act as a subject matter expert for enhancements and changes to technology, ensuring alignment of priorities with CLD strategy, solutions are cost-effective, and communication is consistent across appropriate teams within the organization
- learn IT structure, software development lifecycle, and data flow between enterprise systems
- act as a Product Owner for an agile development team
- lead business initiatives by partnering with IT associates including business analysts, architects, developers, project managers & service managers to ensure thorough analysis, requirements, testing, deployment, and scope management
- work and communicate effectively with cross functional resources including underwriting, filings, IT, product, billing, data management, pricing and analytics, claims, sales, and operations to ensure transactions, workflows and user experience meet the stated objectives
- a nticipate how changes to people, process and technology may affect other parts of the organization
- support user acceptance testing / model office
- develop and update procedures, training, and communication materials
- support innovation by providing use case research and subject matter expertise
- monitor and provide regular status reports to the Director regarding the health of commercial systems
- minimum of 4 years of commercial underwriting, process, or technology project experience
- demonstrated k nowledge of commercial lines underwriting, operations, and systems
- demonstrated leadership in managing projects or initiatives
