Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $55,000- $85,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- work independently to implement complex rate changes
- develop and present small-scale initiatives to drive profitability
- become the subject matter expert in some aspect of product management (competitive intelligence, data sources, minor lines rating)
- work with Underwriting, Sales, Actuarial and IT to implement rate changes
- create ad hoc reports to answer business questions
Be Equipped With:
- attention to details
- use formulas and logic for accurate premium calculations
- demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- advanced skills in Microsoft® Excel
- proven time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- ability to work independently
- candidates for the experienced job roles should also:
- be technically proficient in data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, R or equivalent
- have experience in rate making methodologies
You've Earned: bachelor’s degree in business or an analytical field of study (math, economics, finance, statistics, actuarial science) or relevant work experience.
