The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Special Investigations Unit is currently seeking a special investigations representative to handle our Central/Southern Illinois and Eastern Missouri territory where CIC conducts business.
Starting Salary: The pay range for this position is $60,000-$85,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be Ready To:
Thoroughly investigate questionable insurance claims and, if the evidence warrants, a referral to law enforcement.
Be Equipped With:
- 5 years or more of investigative experience interacting with law enforcement, public investigative agencies and state governmental agencies preferred
- experience in courtroom testimony on the local, state or Federal level
- knowledge of civil and criminal law
- the ability to self start
- the discipline to work in a non office setting
- the ability to work numerous files at one time, set priorities and stay organized
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- the ability to write thorough and detailed reports
- experience and skills in interviewing
- knowledge of public speaking skills for training purposes

Relocation and overnight travel may be necessary.
