Essential Duties
Assist the ISO in supporting the overall security architecture of the bank. Assist in implementing and maintaining a bank wide security event monitoring program and policy. Research and monitor attempts to compromise security programs across the banking industry, as well as related fields. Maintain security documentation including procedures and security standards. Perform regular audits of IT systems, including backups, firewall changes, identity management, anti-malware systems and patch management. Assist in the enhancement of information security awareness across all departments. Assist in the creation and completion of risk assessments. Complete and prepare annual user access control report. Maintain social engineering testing, including results reporting and remediation. Assist with the bank's business continuity plan and vendor management programs, including auditing and documentation. Maintain and review security awareness training program. Performs all job functions in compliance with the requirements of banking laws and regulations. Other duties as required by supervisory personnel.
The Right Person
1 – 3 years' successful experience in information security, cybersecurity or IT audit, or similar work environment.
Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Exceptional Knowledge/Use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work independently within time constraints.
Adaptability to use of specialty software and programs.
AA Degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Audit or similar field.
