What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at The Citrus Club?
The Concierge reports directly to the Director of Member Services & Events. The Concierge is responsible for providing concierge services and hospitality to all members and guests, as an Ambassador of The PGA WEST Brand and Century Golf Corporation.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- 2 years of successful experience in hospitality, concierge front desk, restaurant business management, event planning, member relations, resort sales, catering sales, golf club, private country club membership experience preferred.
- 2 years customer, concierge or member service experience preferred.
- Special Event planning support experience preferred.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required.

- Very proficient computer knowledge and software skills required.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Adobe and Word as well as Internet Research preferred
- As First Impression and Face of the Club, surprise and delight Members and Guests through every interaction.
- Enthusiastically greet Members, Potential Members and Guests with a smile and the willingness to provide excellent concierge service in person, over the phone and via email.
- Assist members with concierge services to include restaurant and special event reservations, recreation requests, floral orders, arranging transportation, etc. and follow through with all reasonable requests.
- Anticipate members’ and guests’ needs by asking how you can assist them; and take initiative to go above and beyond.
- Efficiently respond to all Member requests and inquires in accordance with Club standards, policies and procedures; use fresh ideas, feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the concierge/Member services provided.
- Complete opening and/or closing duties per club standards and procedures.
- Post & update all event marketing & promotional content located on the club lobby digital TV as needed.
- Complete Member filing daily, weekly, as needed and maintain the utmost accuracy, discretion and confidentiality.
- Update and maintain the Club website content and Member database (Members First platform).
- Build, update and maintain the Event Registration process.
- Responsible for ensuring the New Member Activation process is complete timely and accurately to include New Member welcome, onboarding process and website profile creation.
- Responsible for the Member Photo ID and Sponsored Guest Pass process.
- Assist Members with Members First website login issues and update member profile.
- Serve as a special events host to make members and guests feel welcome during the event check-in process.
- Assist in the creation and printing of general club signage, flyers, name tags, banquet menus.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Member Services & Events.
