Job Summary:
Through a strong Christian worldview, supports & implements relevant programming for children Kindergarten through twelfth grade, including gospel-centered lessons, Bible-based character development, social emotional learning, and academic improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Essential Job Functions:
Builds Relationships
- Builds quality, caring relationships that supports, serves, and ministers with the youth and families in order to enhance overall effectiveness of Pathways programming and support an environment conducive to transformation.
Assists with Recreational Activities
- Assist in planning, organizing, leading, and supervising recreational/biblical activities.
- Prepare and assist or lead discussion topics and/or lesson plans for youth participants, geared towards growing in a relationship and understanding of God through the Bible.
- Develop teaching, training, and other classroom material while also utilizing creative media for classroom and instructional usage.
- Understand and enforces compliance to established procedures, policies, and safety standards.
Other Duties
- Assist in serving snacks and meals.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating special events.
- Provides support in maintaining integrity of operating practices, recordkeeping, report writing and attendance systems and data control.
- Uses initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Assist childcare staff with programming needs as the census dictates.
