BSA Analyst I
Job Summary:
The BSA Analyst I position will be responsible for adhering to BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) regulations, identifying compliance risks, & implementing appropriate changes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review & submit Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)
- Analyze accounts for unusual or suspicious activity using various reports and alerts generated by the bank’s anti-money laundering system.
- Conduct account investigations and research to address any account irregularities and determine whether escalation is warranted.
- Occasional travel required for ongoing BSA training at seminars/schools and assisting with employee training for CTRs
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Possess organization skills along with good time management.
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, adaptable and detail oriented.
- Independent worker & self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.
- Experience in BSA field required
Education and Experience:
- Proficient with computer skills capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3 years of general banking experience
- Complete and pass all required training courses as assigned
